The feedback was pretty straightforward and Chris has given me some interesting things to look at which I’ll comment on over the next few weeks. Chris agreed about the final edit and I’d pretty much reached the same conclusion as he did. I’d included a couple of images that I liked on their own but I knew really that they didn’t fit with the series. I think that’s a trap we all fall into. The final piece will be three triptychs using varying shades of blue on A3 foam board with my text incorporated.
Incorporating more critical analysis was also mentioned which has commented before. Especially now as we have a critical review essay coming up, I realise I need to do some reading on what exactly is critical analysis. What I know is that I don’t know! I did a bit of preliminary reading and google searching the other day and I intend to write a post on it in the next weeks.
I have a plan for my next assignment. As always after the initial enthusiasm I was having some doubts but I feel confident it will work out. I’m comfortable with my way of working but intend to include more critical analysis into my research.
