The photo series begins with the above quote. Although the images are taken in America, they could very easily be my local area. The images show various seasons and the changes that occur. They depict natural wilder areas alongside traces of human activity in the farmed fields, camp fire and tyre tracks. There are beautiful changes in the light, from the colder tones of the low winter sun to the warmer elements of summer.
In the main, the images depict the slow, rolling transition of time and the seasons. I realise that this is how my original transitions project was unfolding. The images are comforting and familiar particularly as there are no grand and dramatic weather events/skies that are sometimes evident in more commercial landscape images but rather natural compositions.
