I’ve not pinned down a specific title for my essay but reading ahead to the Part four coursework, I’d like to explore something around this topic. I’ve read the extract for the next exercise and as a consequence, I’ve ordered the book. This is definitely a topic that interests me. Our sense of National identity is tied to our Landscape and our ‘Dream of England’. It may be that I can tie in recent events. Brexit for example and the current Lockdown. Do younger generations feel that same connection?
I’ll work towards deciding on a title which needs to be something discursive. I found the exert from John Taylors book very comfortable reading, so as soon as it arrives, I’ll start reading.
