This is a beautiful book and a good way of viewing the landscape differently. Shot in black and white film, the images involve both random views of the immediate landscape and also portraits. There is both abstraction and texture. The images are taken at close range which removes the context of the shot. The viewer is invited to find themselves in the small details. It is a very personal work however which feels very intimate.
